The draws for DANISA DENMARK OPEN 2018 presented by VICTOR are ready and from day one clash of badminton titans are guaranteed. 

In just three weeks DANISA DENMARK OPEN 2018 presented by VICTOR will take off and just in from BWF are the draws for the tournament.

Glancing down the program there is no doubt that the tournament will be packed with excitement and great showdowns from day one.


As early as first round we can expect to witness a genuine clash of titans as world champion Kento Momota will meet his match from the recent China Open final, Anthony Ginting. 

If the seedings hold up we will also be likely to get so see last year’s winner, Kidambi Srikanth, up against legend Lin Dan i second round. 

Also in second round we might get to experience a danish star clash if both world number one Viktor Axelsen and Anders Antonsen make it through their first games.

Favorites to win the men’s doubles category Gideon/Sukamuljo are likely to run into last year’s winners and third seeded Nan/Cheng, which also will be an unparalleled star clash on the world tour. 

The recent dazzling danish China Open winners, Kim Astrup and Anders Rasmussen, are, if they keep up their game, likely to run into Fajar Alfian and Muhammad Ardianto in the second round, and whoever wins that match will be likely to play second seeded Li Yunhui and Liu Yuchen as soon as the quarter final.

In women’s singles the defending olympic and world champion, Carolina Marin, is placed in the lower half of the program with last year’s runner up, Akane Yamaguchi, where she is predicted to go on and up against Pusarla V. Sindhu in the quarter final. 

Also players and constellations such as Zheng Siwei/Huang Yaqiong, Mathias Christiansen/Christinna Pedersen, Yuki Fukushima/Sayaka Hirota and Tai Tzu Ying are to find in the draws, and let’s keep in mind that badminton is a sport filled with surprises as there are lots of contenders to the title!

At Badminton Denmark surely have no doubt, that this year’s DANISA DENMARK OPEN presented by VICTOR will offer both magic and unique badminton experiences!
